Sea Urchin Vase | Hand Built and Carved Stoneware Ceramic

A gorgeous textured vase in a circular design, the carving is reminiscent of a Sea Urchin. The underglaze glaze is a blueish purple stain, finished with a semi translucent white glaze. The base of the vase is raw clay which has been sealed so it is waterproof. The inside is also glazed white.

This vase is a one off hand built piece. It is approximately 20cm wide and 18cm high.

The clay is a recycled mix of stoneware and has fired in dark reddish brown colour.
